Portugal is located on the Atlantic coast of the Iberian Peninsula, in south-western Europe.
It shares a border with Spain in the North and the East and is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean in the West and the South. In addition, on its territory are the Azores Islands as well as Madeira. Despite its small size, Portugal exhibits a remarkable variety of geographical features, ranging from coastal coasts to endless plains and wonderful mountain areas, making it a unique tourist destination.
