But it is certain that all of us would like to live once and for all to see ourselves and to see with our own eyes the remnants of one of the oldest civilizations of the planet and the wonders of one of the most powerful and pioneering democracies of modern history. A unique trek to two of China's major metropolises in Beijing and Shanghai, which also offers you the opportunity to see and enjoy moments from the beautiful province of this tumultuous country with the small traditional villages with the water canals, the pagodas and temples. The moment of the journey is the experience of the Beijing train that marks a miracle of technology.
Day 1: Athens / Thessaloniki - Beijing
Intermediate flight arriving on the following day for the political and cultural core of China, the transformed Beijing, the capital of the country and the homonymous autonomous province of the People's Republic of China. A wonderful life trip, in a mysterious and extremely culturally interesting Asian country, just begins.
Day 2: Beijing
Arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport, meeting with our local escort and after completing the necessary entry procedures, we board the bus to transfer to our hotel. Free day for your first acquaintance with the city. Enjoy a pleasant walk in the Vang Fui Ching pedestrian area.
Day 3: Beijing
Today, after a rich breakfast, we will start our tour of the Tifen and Men's square, which is located right in front of the entrance to the legendary Forbidden City. For centuries, the vast-scale square has been the political seat of the reluctant country. We will see landmarks such as the National Museum, the Communist Party Secretariat building, Mao Che Cheung's Mausoleum and, of course, the balcony from which the leading leader of the 20th century proclaimed the founding of the People's Republic of China on 01/01 / 1949. We will continue in the famous Forbidden City or Imperial City, the strongest symbol of the glorious past of China. It is the city palace that witnesses the glory and splendor of ten centuries of Chinese Empire. There we will enjoy a delicious meal at a local selected restaurant. We will then visit the Summer Palace in the northwest region of Beijing. It is an amazing complex of palaces, gardens, inner courtyards, corridors and halls that echo the troubled history of strict totalitarian dynasties and have contributed to the global radiance of Chinese omnipotence. The "Sea of Wisdom", '' Sutjot's Street" and "Mountain of Longevity" are the most picturesque spots. We have free afternoon to enjoy a relaxing walk. In the evening we will have a Western-style dinner at our hotel.
Day 4: Beijing
Today after breakfast we will begin our tour of China's top notable beauty, the Great Wall. It is the largest dimension in human construction visible from the moon. It was built for defensive purposes in order to protect China from raids of other races. The Wall is wide enough to provide comfort to the galloping of seven onslaught soldiers, and is complemented by cone towers and observatories. We will have the opportunity to walk on the points where the soldiers of the Chinese army passed to protect the city. Then we will enjoy our meal at a local selected restaurant. We will continue with our visit to the Ming Dynasty vault valley. The Dynasty of Ming laid the foundations for China's cultural and spiritual reform. The nicest things done in China were created at that time. Our next station is the Sacred Way, which is paved with marble and has statues of figures and animals on both sides. We have free evening and afternoon.
Day 5: Beijing - Shi'an (by train)
Today we will have the pleasure of visiting and touring the Temple of Heaven Temple of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a complex of religious buildings in southeastern Beijing. In this area annual ceremonies were held with prayers in heaven for good harvest. Then we will go to the city's "Hutong" narrow streets with the famous "rickshaw", which were originally three-wheeled carts that were handled by a driver who carried a passenger. They were a very popular medium of transport in the 19th century. In the 21st century, they were used as an alternative to taxis because of their low cost. Later we can enjoy our meal at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, it's free as time for our transfer to the train station, for our passing to Shian in the evening. (in comfortable 4-bed bunk beds).
Day 6: Shan
Today we will be in one of the oldest and most important cities of China, which has more than 3,000 years of history. Shi'an. As soon as we get there, we transfer to our hotel for breakfast. Then we will visit for sightseeing, Emperor's Mausoleum and the museum with the internationally renowned statues "terracotta warriors". They were discovered in 1974 by some Chinese farmers who tried to open a well. The clay army consists of about 8,000 statues of soldiers of terracotta. In 2016, Chinese archaeologists announced that it was possible for the Chinese to build soldiers, to collaborate with Greek sculptors and to be inspired.
